About Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru was established in 1938 to promote and propagate Indian ideals and culture via literature, music, dance, and other forms of fine art. Dr. Munshi saw himself as a "sea shell thrown up by the enormous tide of Indian renaissance," having worked as a lawyer, creative writer, constitution-maker, freedom warrior, administrator, organization-builder, and defender of Indian culture at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru.

Dr. Munshi immediately launched forth broad-based projects towards the realization of its principles, with the blessings of sage-like figures such as Mahatma Gandhi and Gurudev Tagore. It was founded to promote and propagate Indian ideals and culture, which includes literature, music, dance, and other forms of fine art.

Khincha Hall is a well-equipped auditorium for organizing activities and symposiums. It is located on Race Course Road and is easily accessible to the general public. Fully air-conditioned, with well-designed acoustics for your comfort, and space for over 300 people in well-designed seats.
